Navigated 2D ultrasound is reconstructed using internal software and hardware developments in 3D and subsequently is connected with handheld SPECT systems for molecular and anatomical biopsy guidance. Clinical partners are from the ENT clinic of the Medical Faculty of the University hospital Magdeburg and the department of nuclear medicine of the University hospital Jena.
Further objectives include the integration with high-field MRI and the use of the solution for applications in the field of Urology, Senology and Oncology.
