The research agenda of the Research Campus STIMULATE focuses on image-guided minimally invasive therapies for age-related oncological, neuro- and cardiovascular diseases. Various image modalities are applied.
The combination of thematic focus, target structure(s) and applied imaging results in four clinical/technical focus areas, which reflect the main research areas of STIMULATE.
The content of the work in each focus area is coordinated by a three-person management team with one representative each from industry, medicine and technology, appointed by the Executive Board. Operationally, the focus field leaders are supported by research group leaders who are responsible for the individual research projects.
